About Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum:

Our museums are fun for all ages - we are historical, educational and fun!

We also have a snack bar on premises serving, DipNDots ice cream, hot dogs, funnel cakes, popcorn, soft drinks, coffee, etc.

We also have an arcade area in our Wax museum lobby.

GROUPS: We honor group rates for 12 or more people. Group rates vary from $9.99 to $16.99 (admits to both attractions) Group rates vary depending on type of group: military reunions, family groups, youth groups, corporate groups, etc. We will be happy to talk to client and quote a group rate depending on the type of group and the number of people.

1.What can I find inside?

Our Louis Tussaud's Wax Works features over 250 life-like wax figures in themed settings of Hollywood, History -Freedom's Journey-features a 66 foot handpainted wall mural depicting significant events over the last 100 years. It's truly awesome! Other themed sections include Children's Land of Make Believe, Heroes of the Lone Star, Heroes of Mexico, The Passion Of Christ, Horror and much more! Our Ripley's Believe It or Not! is the largest and newest Ripley's Believe It or Not! in the United States!

Some of the many exhibits include 3,500 pounds of the actual Berlin Wall along with documentary footage, the car Lee Harvey Oswald rode in the day he assassinated President Kennedy, a two trunked elephant, a huge Titanic exhibit and much more! We also have a very unique gift shop called the Cargo Hold Gift Shop. It is one of only 4 in the country. The gift shop features items from all over the world-you can expect the unexpected at the Cargo Hold Gift Shop.

2.How long does it take to tour the museum?

The tours of the museums are self-guided. However, we do recommend at least 45 minutes in the Wax Museum and at least an hour to 1-1/2 hours in the new Ripley's museum.

3.Can I take pictures?

Yes, one can take pictures in both museums.

4.Where can I park?

There are several surface parking lots within a block of two of the museums. Also, there is parking across the street at the River Center Mall Parking Garage; also right behind the museums is the Hyatt Parking Garage.

5.Is the museum wheelchair accessible?

We do have elevators in both museums for wheelchair access.

6.What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and all major credit cards.

7.Can I set up a class trip?

We definitely encourage group reservations. You can call 210-224-9299 and ask for Helen or Janie. We can help you schedule your trip to our museums.

8.Do you host birthday parties?

We don't have a separate room to host birthday parties but we encourage people to bring their birthday party participants to tour our attractions. We can offer group rates for 12 or more and will quote a rate depending on age.
